The backstory
Our world continues to change one technology at a time. Before the Wright brothers powered the first manned flight at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, in 1903, it didn’t seem like it was possible to put a man in the sky and fly. But it happened; for the first time in history, a plane soared up above. That’s what technology attempts to do: the “impossible”.
Yet, oftentimes, the brains behind the very innovations powering our lives and businesses do not get the attention they deserve. On the scale of impact, these technologies — evolving at breakneck speed — do not get weighed enough. That’s where BrainBox comes in.
BrainBox is a biweekly newsletter seeking to explore the motions of the technologies enabling today’s enterprise digital transformation, the thinking behind them, and their impact on everyday living. From large organizations listed on the stock exchange to young startups racing for leadership, BrainBox makes a deeper foray into contextualizing the tech ecosystem today and what it might look like tomorrow.
Where are we and where are we heading? Those are the two questions that Brainbox wants to answer. It cuts across cybersecurity, AI, 5G, EV, and Web3. It drills into today’s enterprise tech stack — its import and impact — and looks to discover and establish the purpose behind these innovations.
It’s my goal to provide fine-grained context to not just these technologies, but also the challenges business leaders face building and deploying them and how to overcome such challenges. Brainbox is a newsletter with insights from business leaders for business leaders — beaming the light on the technologies transforming our world today and the brains behind them. Think of it as the go-to place for tech business trends, lessons, and inspiration.
